A couple of people had approached me recently, excitedly asking: “Have you been to the new place yet?” – which made me instantly share in that excitement… Sadly, it didn’t take long to discover that this one came at the expense of another – the Milk Jug did not make it.

Indeed, the cakes on display were a feast for the eyes: the portions were huge but beautifully executed, each presented on its own glass domed tray – and that’s how they were served to the table, as I soon discovered.
