Kava Street Coffee

I had made my first attempt at visiting Kava Street Coffee on Mothering Sunday – a big mistake as the Promenade was heaving and despite a considerable selection of food trailers to choose from, the longest queue was at my destination. I aborted that mission, vowing to return on a weekday.

That did not happen, however, and the next opportunity came on a Saturday; I decided to bite the bullet and do a thing us Poles are not very good at – wait in the queue.

Spring has sprung in Aberdeen and with it a renewed desire to walk its streets. Which makes for the perfect context for the recent recommendation of a strictly take-away coffee spot – because the only time that is acceptable is when the great outdoors is calling with a wonderful aura.

The latter had a Kitsuné bar serving take away coffees, so I returned inside the archway where the only seat was at the wide open window overlooking Motcomb – it was perfect.
