Giddy Cup Coffee

After my fabulous previous experience I had no reservations in following the trail to the newly recommended Giddy Cup Coffee… I was kicking myself for not prepping better as I have unintentionally made this a very close competition – Giddy Cup is just next door to Kava. This was going to be fierce.

Kava Street Coffee

I had made my first attempt at visiting Kava Street Coffee on Mothering Sunday – a big mistake as the Promenade was heaving and despite a considerable selection of food trailers to choose from, the longest queue was at my destination. I aborted that mission, vowing to return on a weekday.

That did not happen, however, and the next opportunity came on a Saturday; I decided to bite the bullet and do a thing us Poles are not very good at – wait in the queue.

The Pier

What an incredibly charming part of the city, and a great finish to a pleasant afternoon in Aberdeen. I’d recommend both – the village and a sweet Promenade treat. Only under one condition: you can’t be in a rush!
