Mozart Concierge (Flowers and Coffee)

When an Instagram reel featuring Mozart popped up on my “For you” feed, I hit “Save” instantly. I then retrieved the video on my next trip to the Capital, but only after I actually spotted someone walking down Piccadilly with a flowery 2-cup holder, which triggered my memory.

Longparke Farm

I’m sad to say that I enjoyed my Americano more (I drained it quite quickly actually, so the coffee itself is not an issue); however, the place is large, very comfortable and accommodating of solo fliers and families with kids alike.

Café Kitsuné London

The latter had a Kitsuné bar serving take away coffees, so I returned inside the archway where the only seat was at the wide open window overlooking Motcomb – it was perfect.
What wasn’t was the service…

Sidings Café

I have to say, making my way alongside the platform and onto the carriage tickled my excitement of being transported to another period and place. And indeed, I couldn’t have timed it better, as the moment I stepped inside, hail descended

Chocolaterie de Monaco

For the grandeur of the city, the chocolaterie was rather underwhelming; I was expecting Willy Wonka excitement, but got an average-sized speciality shop. The cafe at the back was even more surprising – it looked like a recent afterthought, with just a few simple tables and little warmth to the decor.

Boxcar Coffee & Yard

Once my mocha was finally called, I took an edge seat at one of the large campsite-style tables, occupied by two other couples, to conduct a proper assessment of my drink. It felt light as I picked it up and the froth under the lid seemed to confirm the concoction would be underwhelming. And so it was.
